Inlanes

The inner of the paired Lanes flanking the Flippers, running between the Outlanes and the flipper itself and returning the ball to a flipper for a controlled shot instead of draining it. Inlane rollovers commonly light letters, bonuses, or the Skill Shot, making an inlane the safe counterpart to the same shot landing one lane over in the outlane.

Like outlanes, inlanes are all but universal across pinball’s history and are mostly not tracked per machine in this catalog.
