Bontempi
Overview
Bontempi was a coin-op maker in Rome whose place in the pinball record rests on a single machine, Action, an Italian copy of a game by Chicago’s Chicago Coin. It should not be confused with the far better-known Bontempi of the Marche — the musical-instrument dynasty that Paolo Bontempi grew out of a small accordion business his father Egisto had started in 1937, eventually employing around a thousand people at Potenza Picena, a wholly separate company in another region.[1]
