Dai Uchuu Ryokou (大宇宙旅行)
Overview
Dai Uchuu Ryokou (大宇宙旅行) is an Electromechanical amusement game produced around 1970 by Nihon Jidou Hanbaiki Kabushikigaisha (Japan Automatic Vending Machine Company) of Tokyo.[1][2] Its play derives from sugoroku, a Japanese variety of Parcheesi: the player advances a spaceship across the playfield toward a goal to win a replay, with some rollovers advancing the ship and others sending it backward.[2] The game uses bulb scoring (Backglass Lights) rather than Score Reels, and its title translates roughly as “Big Space Journey”.[2]
