    ipdb.notes
Playfield was produced by Gottlieb as a 1 player replay version called 'El Dorado', an Add-A-Ball version called 'Gold Strike', an Add-A-Ball version for Italy called 'Lucky Strike', a 4 player replay called 'Target Alpha', a 4 player replay game made only for France called 'Canada Dry', and a 2 player replay called 'Solar City'. Curiously, the 1978 Gottlieb Parts Catalog indicates that El Dorado uses 3 inch rubber rings on its slingshots while 3 1/2 inch rings are indicated for the slingshots of Target Alpha, Solar City, and Canada Dry. The other games shown above are not included in this catalog. We previously showed a date for this game of March 1975. The new date is per Gottlieb documentation. Also later produced as Premier's 1984 4 player 'El Dorado City of Gold'.
