    ipdb.notes
Last EM pinball machine by this manufacturer. The 2-player version of this game is Bally's 1976 'Quarterback', with a different sports theme. In Cash Box, Aug-6-1977 page 64, Bally announced that their factory had "commenced volume production" of this game. We previously had credited Dick White as artist for this game. Paul Faris provided us this information:When Bally hired me, they had me work on the game Quarterback as my first assignment. I actually had to make a 4-player game with a soccer theme to be sold in Europe (because Europeans favored 4-player games). That one was called 'Kick Off'. I know they prototyped it but I don't know if they ever produced it. I think Dick White did the first version of the Quarterback glass and management asked me to redo it along with the soccer version. I don't think I ever saw a production version of either game before I went on to Night Rider and then Evel Knievel. That is as much as I know.
