Overview
Mexico 70 takes its name and its Soccer subject from the 1970 World Cup, which Mexico hosted that year — a tournament the country had won the right to stage over Argentina, and one many still reckon the finest ever played.[1] Dama released the game that same year as one of its Electromechanical pinball conversion kits, with artwork by Cortez. A small “Md” monogram appears on some of the Milan firm’s converted backglasses, a mark that one account ties to a predecessor business reorganized into Dama.[2]
