- Flipcommons AI Descriptions (MachineModel)*Party Animal* is a pinball machine for [[manufacturer:bally]] by [[person:dennis-nordman]], who over a long career designed for Bally, Williams and Stern.[1] Bally Midway put it on the market in 1987[2] with a raucous [[theme:1980s]] [[theme:party]] theme and a sound package that broke new ground: it was the first pinball to greet players with the sounds of a belch and a flushing toilet.[3] Two translites shipped — a bar version with a plain beer stein and a home version whose stein reads "Dad's Old Fashioned Root Beer".[4] Bally Midway produced 2,250, and [[manufacturer:bally]]'s German subsidiary [[manufacturer:bally-wulff]] built a licensed European edition, *[[model:party-animal-bally-wulff]]*.
