This game was first announced at the 2015 Rocky Mountain Pinball Showdown in Denver, Colorado. Attendees and others who placed their names on a list for the Limited Edition were later emailed further instructions for making the purchase. This information is in our Files Section.
The manufacturer confirmed to us that 50 units of the Limited Edition were made.
The Limited Edition has a different backglass than the Standard Edition, has different side rails, and comes with a numbered plaque. According to an owner, the plaque is made of plastic and was stapled by the factory to the bottom of the game in a plastic baggie. Therefore, examples of this Limited Edition game may not have this plaque in a visible place to help identify it. The owner stated his plaque's unique number in the sequence of 50 was not selected by him but was assigned by the manufacturer to represent the ordinal position in which he ordered and placed a monetary deposit.
The manufacturer advised us that "game #300" (their reference to the fact that a total sum of 300 Standard Editions and Limited Editions were made) was made into a "completely custom game" and auctioned for charity. We do not know from the manufacturer the details of this customization but pictures we have seen (not shown here) show it has a Limited Edition backglass and, most notably, the designation '#300' is cut into the side armor and backbox hinges. Even so, the manufacturer did not wish to say if this unique game was counted as one of the 50 or one of the 250.
