Jungle Life

Jungle Life is LORI’s unlicensed, built-from-scratch copy of Gottlieb’s Jungle Life, and one of at least three Italian bootleg versions of that single American design — Emmepi and Zaccaria rebuilt it too. Gottlieb’s original was itself an Add-a-Ball game turned out expressly for export to Italy: the one-player entry in a Jungle-themed trio whose two- and four-player relatives were sold as Wild Life and Jungle.^[1] The three machines shared a playfield and differed mainly in player count, which Gottlieb priced in tiers so that operators with less to spend could buy the smaller versions.^[2] From Bologna, LORI reproduced this much-copied Electromechanical cabinet for the domestic market.
