Big Dryvers

Big Dryvers was one of the games Europlay put on the market in 1974, the year the firm began trading, and it appeared in two parallel four-player builds — one Electromechanical, the other Solid State. Its name, a stylised spelling of “drivers,” points to a Driving subject. Europlay was itself new that season, formed as the continuation of the coin-op maker R.M.G. (Renato Montanari Giochi), which had been turning out games since about 1970^[1] before it was reconstituted under the Europlay name in 1974.^[2] Big Dryvers reached buyers in that first year alongside Sky Star, the company’s earliest model.^[3]
